PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The second generation of the hybrid turntable that he designed for Vestax and is also successfully used and presented by world star DJ Q-Bert. The QFO turntable, from which this model is based, was originally designed by Q-Bert as a turntable for training mixing, scratching and other disciplines of turntablism. Over a year, DJ Q-Bert tested various variants of the QFO design to ensure that every control element, potentiometer, fader is placed in the absolute most advantageous position for optimal work with the device. QFO LE is in its form a combination of two successful Vestax products; the PDX-2000 turntable and the PMC-05Pro mixer and now its limited edition is coming to the market, with a different deign in black color and with several technical modifications and simpler control compared to its predecessor QFO. view full description »

The QFO LE mixing section has rotary faders for setting the input signal level (TRIM), input signal selection switches (PHONO/LINE), VCA technology on linear faders on 2 stereo unbalanced inputs. It has a switch on the MASTER output, which can be used to disable the signal and leave it only in one of the two headphone outputs (TRS 6.3 and 3.5) with volume control by a potentiometer on the side of the device. By listening, you can monitor either the output signal (MASTER) or the selected stereo channel (PGM). The crossfader has a smooth setting of the crossfader curve and a mirroring option. Like the crossfader, both input faders are replaceable (designation of replaceable faders: crossfader CF-PCV and PGM channel faders IF-QFO PCV (method of replacement - visit QFO LE User manual).

The QFO LE is powered by a Direct Drive synchronous DC motor with a Quartz system and a torque of up to 4.7 kg/cm. The engine speed is sensed and constantly controlled using a digital servo. Thanks to this combination of a DC motor with a digital servo and the modification of the entire casting of the turntable, the Japanese Vestax optimized the ratio between the own weight of the turntable and its inertia. The pitch control is unconventionally handled by a rotary fader with a working radius of up to 180°. The range can be set in 3 modes: 90° left, 90° right, 180°. The record player is equipped with reverse function and Quartz Lock, the buttons for these functions are doubled (on the left and right side).

The QFO LE is equipped with a height-adjustable linear Anti Skipping Tone-arm System (A.S.T.S.) arm for the best possible sound and minimizing stress on the pickup tip due to the physical centrifugal and centripetal forces that act on the tip sensing the turntable groove as it rotates. A.S.T.S. the linear arm ensures high sound quality and a stable recording process from the turntable. This entire original system of A.S.T.S. it is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and was designed by experienced developers specifically for Vestax. A.S.T.S. system it is popular worldwide, which is a testament to its quality, and of course Vestax has it protected by US patents. The chassis of the turntable is made of a special hardened ABS polymer with polycarbonate elements with an ingenious system of internal torsion bars and stiffeners, which enables good isolation from unwanted feedback.

    Hi, what condition is the QFO LE in? Cartridge is new? I would be interested in buying it.

      Hello, yes this product will be refurbished with full warranty. Cartridge has been replaced and is 100% fresh. There will be only 1 pc for sale and it is possible to order already at the moment of publication.
