PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

For Audiotechnica Series turntables is designed upgrade heavy tonearm counterweight AT-CW1. Heavy counter weight enables the AT-LP120 and AT-LP120 USB turntables to use higher quality headshells and cartridges which usually are beyond the usable range of the standard counterweight supplied with the AT-LP120 turntables. Is designed to the balance of the tone arm, with a rotating ring with scale to precision adjust the pressure on the stylus. Example, enables AT-LP120 and AT-LP120 USB turntables to use higher quality headshells and cartridges. Low limit: 13g combined weight of headshell, headshell wires, screws and nuts, and cartridge. High limit: 18g combined weight of headshell, headshell wires, screws and nuts, and cartridge. The AT-CW1 is actually a more suitable counterweight for the factory installed AT headshell and AT95E cartridge that are provided with the AT-LP120USB turntables. It sits closer to the pivot point of the tonearm for better tracking and performance.
